What is Hypnotherapy?

Through the practice of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, we first identify what you would like to achieve. Our sessions will then equip you with the tools and techniques you need to enable beneficial changes that are right for you, moving towards your preferred future as effectively and quickly as possible.

There is no need to dig up or dwell on the past, which can sometimes be upsetting and unsettling.

Hypnosis reduces anxiety and this is achieved very simply through relaxation and guided visualisation, allowing you to focus on the positive aspects of your life and encouraging a shift in perspective as you start to feel more ‘you’ again.

We enter a hypnotic state many times a day, it is a natural brain wave pattern we experience, for example, when we’re daydreaming, driving that familiar route and even when we’re watching television.

You’ll be given a free half hour relaxation cd or download during your Initial Consultation which I’ll encourage you to listen to every night, to reinforce the work that we do during our sessions. Should you be struggling to get a good night’s sleep (as is so often the case when we are facing any challenges) my recording will become an invaluable tool in getting you back on track.

Hypnotherapy is safe and reliable with no harmful side effects. It is suitable for just about everybody with the potential for hugely beneficial results, so long as you are committed to the process.
